From the easy breezy coastal chic to the bold pattern modern to the whimsy and the calm minimalist with subtle pops of color, we’ve just designed a series rooms featuring our favorite new launches and trends for the summer of 2023. In today’s blog, we’d love to preset 2 of modern chic powder rooms we designed.
We have a mood for warmer tones this summer maybe because we have been through a lot of cloudy weathers lately—the so-called infamous June Gloom in SoCal. A warm and inviting powder room will make you feel cozy and homey and make your guests feel more welcoming and relaxing. For this minimalist powder room we designed, we used a clean-lined floating dark walnut wall-mounted bath vanity to anchor the space while terracotta-inspired wall tiles add texture, depth and warmth to the space. The mixing use of metals also gives this power room more personality. The lighting design for any bath is extremely important. We used two hanging pendants on the both sides of the mirror to give that even lighting on the face. And there are 3 of small recessed lights with one of them centering with the sink. We also designed LED tape lighting underneath the vanity to make it floating and it is perfect for lighting the space in the evenings without disturbing the eyes. The creamy marbling mosaic flooring and cloudy white bath mat make the space feel cozy, crisp yet elegant.
The hue of green is calming and elegant. For this chic powder room we designed, we used different shades of green to create a tonal and soothing powder room that features a modern floating wall bath vanity in solid American walnut and dusty sea grass geometric wall tiles. The brass accents on the wall sconces, lavatory faucet and mirror bring in the warms the glam. And the organic woodland scented candle sets the mood and promotes rejuvenation.
