Reminiscent of a vintage textile, a masterful mix of mediums lends “Sahara” a dreamy tranquility. “I wanted to create something that felt archival and had a sense of place,” explains the artist. A combination of plaster, canvas, acrylic paint, gesso and textiles was used to create this elegant abstract work. Reproduced here using the artist’s original techniques. Hangs in two orientations.
Patrick St. Germain is a Montreal-based artist who works mostly with acrylic paint, resin, metallics and pastels. He describes his style of art as primarily abstract, textural and complex. “I love to explore the grandeur of nature by weaving abstraction and landscape into my own personal visual language.”
