Home Library With A Touch Of Summer Blue
Blue is one of the most quintessentially summery colors. Inspired by blue skies, the ocean, we designed this home library that features a touch of summery blue.
We are a big fan of all-white room, specially the cloud-white room with layers of textures. In this home library we designed, we used leather, boucle, paper prints and French linens to create a layered yet breathable space that is airy and inviting. A super comfy sofa is the perfect spot to sink in at the end of the day. A pair of conversational ivory chairs are plush and soft. A pair of feather floor lamps bring in whimsy and feminine vibes while their gilded gold bases add a subtle touch of glam. The hand-knotted wool rug makes a moody statement with grounding hues and a tribal, medallion motifs. This durable, artisan-made rug features geometric accents in a serene gray, blue, and taupe colorway. Then we introduce the summery blue on the pillows—a pair of blue vintage Paris pillows are light and playful while the kilim checkered pilow brings in a timeless pattern.
