Friday House Tour—A Laid-back Long Island Summer Retreat

What’s your weekend plan? Need a little getaway? Today, we’d tour this laid-back Long Island summer retreat of designer and former Ralph Lauren Home executive Alfredo Paredes, who was the eye behind the brand’s stores, restaurants, and the occasional Lauren residence. This summer retreat house was originally a Victorian resort. It is the study of the effortlessly curation of antiques and flea-market finds. We love the easy vibe, the burlap wallpaper, the classical coastal stripe patterns, the painted white kitchen and the rug-on-rug idea for the extra coziness and softness underfoot.
