This entry we designed features a pastel geometric wallpaper that brings in some movements in a subtle way. The wallpaper’s spring color palette is fresh and feminine. A white oak bench with brass details is the focal point of the entry and invites you to take a seat. A pair of geometric pillows on the bench look like they just jump out of the wall. A wood-framed artwork on the wall is mysterious and has that serene feel to make you pause and take a slow and deep breath. A zebra-printed hide rug anchors the space with a touch of glam.

Fall is in full swing. The burnt orange is everywhere from fashion to home. But the fall decor doesn’t need to be saturate colors all the time like this minimalism entry we designed. The color palette of black and white is visually clean and classical. Once you step into this entry, you feel you are shut out from the outside chaotic world. Yet the wood floor and plush hide rug add textures and warmth that make you feel cozy and inviting. The earth tone touches on the vase also are a hint of fall.

Here is our September Room Design Series—an entry with a fresh fall feel. Fall is a time to slow down, get cozy, and take a deep breath. We have brought in this feeling to the design —layers of quiet warm whites to relax and rest in yet there are subtle pops of color that make you smell cider and cinnamon. The iconic animal prints are fun and whimsy. We love to play the tensions between the chic modern and clean-lined classical, the sculptural-feel minimalism and soft intricacy.
We turn this entry into a striking design moment by pairing a neoclassical-inspired chest and a modern brass layered mirror and the warm-hue geometric wallpaper. The amber glass table lamp brings in a touch of femininity and elegance. The monochromatic area rug with the eye-catching geometric design adds depth and dimension to the entry.
