When it comes to refreshing your living room for fall, the key is blending comfort, color, and a hint of seasonal personality. In this project, we designed a space that feels both sophisticated and playful, making it ideal for everyday living and holiday gatherings.
The centerpiece is a curved green sofa — an elegant statement piece that softens the room’s lines and creates a welcoming flow. Alongside it, we added pink lounge chairs that almost feel like they’re giving you a hug, offering both comfort and charm.
Grounding the space is a green hand-knotted rug adding texture and timeless appeal. To bring light and refinement, we selected a chandelier from Serena & Lily — a chic choice that ties the room together.
Since fall is also about celebration, we finished the look with Halloween pumpkins from Mackenzie-Childs. They’re festive without being overpowering, adding just the right seasonal touch to the design. 🎃✨

This living room we designed features a curved sofa, one pair of comfy arm chairs in mustard velvet fabric. What we really love about this room is the whimsy ruffled pillows and irregular checked hand knitted rugs. They are now on sale.

It is true that trends come and go. But they will at least give you some ideas what’s happening out there in the world. Different from fashion trends, home trends often last much longer. The kitchen we did 15 years ago still look pretty good and relevant today. And the sofas we specified for the clients still look gorgeous in their living room. So for the home, it is often about the contents and contexts and how we put things together. Here are some trends we fall in love with in 2024.
1.Natural Materials: Natural materials like solid wood, rattan, stones always bring in good vibes to a home. These materials bring warmth and a natural feel to the living space.
2. Soft Curves and Organic Shapes: Furniture with rounded edges, soft curves, and organic shapes are in vogue, replacing the sharp, angular designs of the past. This trend creates a more inviting and cozy atmosphere for you to relax once home.
3. Earthy Tones and Warm Neutrals: Color palettes are moving toward earthy tones like terracotta, sage green, and warm neutrals such as beige, taupe, and soft browns. These colors evoke a sense of calm and serenity.

For this all-white living room we design, pops of color from the artwork, floral arrangement bring in cheerful vibes and fashion-forward feel while the texture on the chair and area rug add extra layers of coziness and warmth. The reclaimed wood console table, reeded wood finish on the table and painted marble veins on the mantle grace the space with natural touches. The blush velvet ottomans not only contrast the console tables with their refined feel but also provide the perfect casual seating for any cocktail party at home. We used plaster white vases to give the space a sculptural interest in a quiet way.
We love the clean-lines and the simple form of this Sullivan Collection console table. Built by hand using sustainably sourced and reclaimed oak wood, each hand-stained surface features a smooth, contemporary finish that accentuates the natural character of the wood. These pieces perfectly balance practicality, craftsmanship, and chic styling.
This cole high back chair is inspired by Italian designs. We love its sleek yet elegant silhouette upholstered in the inviting, textured fabric that will add warmth to any space.
