Holiday at Home—a Festive Entry Features With Cheerful StrawberryWallpapers
Christmas is just around the corner. Here’s how you can create a visually stunning and welcoming festive entryway for Christmas.
1. Garland and Greenery:
• Frame the doorway with lush evergreen garlands, decorated with fairy lights, pinecones, and red berries.
• Add a festive wreath with ornaments and a bow at the center of the door.
2. Lighting:
• Place warm white or multicolor string lights around the entryway.
• Lanterns with candles or battery-operated LED lights on either side of the door add a cozy touch.
3. Doormat:
• Use a Christmas-themed doormat with a cheery message like “Merry Christmas” or “Joy to the World.”
4. Props and Decor:
• Add a pair of faux Christmas trees in matching pots on both sides of the door, decorated to complement your color scheme.
• Include festive figurines, like nutcrackers or reindeer, near the entryway.
5. Pathway:
• Line the walkway with luminaries, candy-cane stakes, or festive signs.
The following festive entry we designed features a cheerful strawberry wallpaper, a modern curved reeded console table, a lovely deer and lush of garlands and greenery.

Holiday at home—- It Is the Time to Have a Little Getaway Home at Home
It is the time to have a little getaway home at home. This vignette we designed features a relaxing yet elegant chaise by Amber Levis for Four Hands. The chaise by Amber Lewis for Four Hands is definitely the dream spot where you want to wind down and chill out thanks to its soft linen fabrics and comfy slope silhouette that invites you to take a rest in it. Love how the slipcover drapes to the base to create a very relaxing yet elegant look. The S-spring seat offers the extra comfort. We elevate the traditional red and green Christmas palette with a more quiet version—- a large portion of winter white with a pop of red from wreath bow and rose arrangement. The blue from the wallpaper, pillow and the area rug is soothing. The marble side table brings in a touch of holiday glam. The blue soft to touch handknotted rug anchors the space with coziness.

Sideboard & Buffet Trends in 2024
A sideboard and buffet not only provides functionality for your dinnerware storage but slo a statement-making piece to set the mood and reflect home owner’s aesthetics. They will play such an important role for friends and family get-togethers in the coming holiday season.
In 2024, buffet and sideboard trends reflect a blend of modern functionality with classic aesthetics, focusing on materials, colors, and design details that cater to contemporary living spaces. Here are some of our favorites trends:
1. Sustainable and Natural Materials
• Eco-friendly Woods: There’s a strong emphasis on using sustainable woods like bamboo, reclaimed wood, and FSC-certified materials.
• Mixed Materials: Combining wood with metals, glass, or stone adds texture and interest. Marble tops or metal accents, like brass or matte black handles, are particularly popular.
2. Curved and Organic Shapes
• Soft Edges: Rounded corners and curved lines provide a softer, more inviting look, moving away from the sharp, angular designs of the past.
• Asymmetry: Sideboards with asymmetrical designs or offset shelving bring a modern twist, creating visual interest.
3. Bold Colors and Finishes
• Deep, Rich Hues: Darker tones like forest green, navy, and charcoal are in, often paired with lighter interiors or metal accents to balance the overall look.
• Matte Finishes: Matte surfaces, particularly in darker shades, offer a sophisticated, contemporary feel, as opposed to high-gloss finishes which are less in vogue.
4. Minimalist and Functional Design
• Streamlined Aesthetics: Minimalist designs with clean lines continue to be popular, emphasizing functionality without sacrificing style.
• Hidden Storage: Buffets and sideboards with concealed storage compartments cater to the need for decluttered living spaces, allowing for a neat and organized look.
5. Vintage and Mid-Century Modern Influences
• Retro Accents: There’s a resurgence of mid-century modern elements, with tapered legs, brass handles, and walnut finishes making a comeback.
• Statement Pieces: Larger, statement sideboards inspired by vintage designs are often used as focal points in dining or living rooms.
6. Multi-functional Features
• Integrated Technology: Some high-end designs incorporate smart technology, like wireless charging pads or LED lighting, blending tech with traditional furniture.
• Convertible Designs: Buffets and sideboards that can double as media consoles, bars, or desks are gaining traction, catering to smaller living spaces or multipurpose rooms.
7. Textural Contrasts
• Woven or Rattan Panels: Incorporating woven elements, especially in sideboard doors, adds a touch of bohemian style and texture, balancing sleek surfaces.
• Contrasting Interiors: Interiors with contrasting colors or materials (e.g., wood exteriors with metal or fabric-lined interiors) offer an element of surprise and luxury.

Refresh Your Living Room With These 2024 Trends
It is true that trends come and go. But they will at least give you some ideas what’s happening out there in the world. Different from fashion trends, home trends often last much longer. The kitchen we did 15 years ago still look pretty good and relevant today. And the sofas we specified for the clients still look gorgeous in their living room. So for the home, it is often about the contents and contexts and how we put things together. Here are some trends we fall in love with in 2024.
1.Natural Materials: Natural materials like solid wood, rattan, stones always bring in good vibes to a home. These materials bring warmth and a natural feel to the living space.
2. Soft Curves and Organic Shapes: Furniture with rounded edges, soft curves, and organic shapes are in vogue, replacing the sharp, angular designs of the past. This trend creates a more inviting and cozy atmosphere for you to relax once home.
3. Earthy Tones and Warm Neutrals: Color palettes are moving toward earthy tones like terracotta, sage green, and warm neutrals such as beige, taupe, and soft browns. These colors evoke a sense of calm and serenity.
