This season, our design mood embraces modern chic living rooms that flow with ease and elegance. We wanted to create a space that feels sophisticated yet playful—highlighting curved silhouettes, fluid forms, and a thoughtful balance of color and texture.
At the heart of the room sits a bold blue curved sofa that anchors the space. Its sculptural form creates movement and contrast against the crisp white backdrop with pleated drapes. To complement, a burnt orange loveseat adds warmth, while a pair of patterned chairs bring a whimsical, playful touch.
The Lighting
Above, a flower-inspired blown glass chandelier captures the eye with its fluid, organic shape. It adds a soft, ethereal glow and reinforces the theme of natural, flowing forms throughout the space.
The Rug
Grounding the entire room is a hand-knotted cream rug with a subtle floral motif. This piece ties everything together—adding elegance, warmth, and texture without overwhelming the space.
The Mood
This living room is all about balance: bold yet refined, modern yet timeless. The interplay of colors, curves, and textures creates an inviting space that reflects our current design mood for the season.
We have designed this bar vignette for the coming holiday season. Pieces we used in this design are on sale now. The rattan bar cabinet and rich toned wallpaper are the inspiration for the design. They create warm and cozy cocoon to relax in the colder days at home. #bar #homedecor
The blues, whites and greys are the classics that evoke the coastal chic—casual, laid-back yet elegant and soothing-the-eye. In this cozy Maine cottage, we love how the owners play the coastal chic with a very refreshing and modern taste thanks to the clean-lined furnishings made from the natural materials, the classic seashore nostalgic stripe patterns and muted color palettes that always calm your mind . We love everything rattan–relaxing, organic and inviting. The outdoor table set is our favorite. Once the table is draped with a nice linen, the mood is set to enjoy a beautiful outdoor garden party by the sea.
We love the braided-edging detail on this rattan lounge chair. It is such a modern update of the classic club chair. It is warm and inviting thanks to its rattan texture. Hairline cracks may occur in the making of this table, lending the look of natural, beautifully aged stone. Such cracks will not impact the table’s integrity.
To preserve the beauty of your outdoor furniture, protect it from the elements with furniture covers when not in use.
Reconstituted stone is naturally porous and will absorb stains if spills are not treated immediately. Blot spills immediately and wipe with a clean, damp cloth to prevent staining.
For cleaning, use mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and make sure all excess soap is removed. Avoid the use of chemicals and abrasives as these will damage the surface.
Do not place hot dishes directly on the table; use felt-backed placemats or trivets to preserve the beauty of the stone.
Avoid hitting the tabletop with other objects as this can chip the surface.
The weight of the tabletop keeps the surface firmly in place. No hardware is needed.

Banana Republic launched its first ever home collection back in March this year. Just like its signature fashion design details—such as thoughtful streamlined closures, exaggerated proportions, and textures—to create timeless pieces that will withstand the test of time, the new home collection follows the same beat and features low key yet high quality pieces that are crafted from premium fabrics and created by skilled artisans. The new home collection includes bedding, artwork, pillows, decor and area rugs. Today we are going to talk about 3 of our favorite area rugs since we are in love with their boho yet quite modern designs. These rugs are Moroccan berber rugs which are intricately hand-knotted by artisans in the Middle Atlas Mountains of Morocco. We will also show you how we are going to style each of them.

One rug can set the foundation of a room and transform it magically. There are various techniques of weaving a rug. Today we are going to focus on hand-knotted rugs. A hand-knotted rug is a rug that is made entirely by hand on a special loom. This long-history traditional waving technique requires remarkable skills, patience and craftsmanship to produce intricate designs for the master pieces.
Area rugs are great ideas for adding a cozy and stylish layer to the floor, indoors or out. Blue is always everybody’s favorite. Here are 6 well-crated blue rugs we handpicked from Serena & Lily’s up to 30% off rug sale(Last Day).
