This season, our design mood embraces modern chic living rooms that flow with ease and elegance. We wanted to create a space that feels sophisticated yet playful—highlighting curved silhouettes, fluid forms, and a thoughtful balance of color and texture.
At the heart of the room sits a bold blue curved sofa that anchors the space. Its sculptural form creates movement and contrast against the crisp white backdrop with pleated drapes. To complement, a burnt orange loveseat adds warmth, while a pair of patterned chairs bring a whimsical, playful touch.
The Lighting
Above, a flower-inspired blown glass chandelier captures the eye with its fluid, organic shape. It adds a soft, ethereal glow and reinforces the theme of natural, flowing forms throughout the space.
The Rug
Grounding the entire room is a hand-knotted cream rug with a subtle floral motif. This piece ties everything together—adding elegance, warmth, and texture without overwhelming the space.
The Mood
This living room is all about balance: bold yet refined, modern yet timeless. The interplay of colors, curves, and textures creates an inviting space that reflects our current design mood for the season.

The go-to interior stylist Colin King, who is famous for finding harmony between furniture ad objects, just launched an limited-edition of an assortment of home furniture and accessories with West Elm. We love how his refined aesthetic marries with West Elm’s modern flair. The new collection is timeless, organic and story-telling. Colin King studied jazz, dance, and ballet for a decade before transitioning to the world of interiors in his early 20s, styling for top design publications like T Magazine and Architectural Digest. We love King’s philosophy–“We all have a lamp, a table, a chair. And I think there’s so much power in arranging and finding that composition where everything just feels good.”
From furniture, lighting, textiles to decorative accessories, the new collection includes 41 pieces celebrates both West Elm and King’s shared appreciation for natural materials, timeless silhouettes, and artisanal craftsmanship. Here are pieces we love and we think they are perfect for a fall refresh to create a warm, inviting interior that is in-depth and story telling.

We love the calming yet warm and sophisticated moody color palette of this living room by West Elm. It has an old world charm and a laid-back organic vibe. A clean-lined white sofa and a pairs of upholstered chairs bring in fresh modernity thanks to their tailored looks. The jute rug anchors the space with easiness and relaxation. The table lamps made from natural stone have a graceful silhouette with simplicity design(nothing looks like those weird shapes in the market). The hand-made earthy-toned vases elevate the space with an artisanal touch.
We love the masculine energy of this dark granite and metal coffee table. Yet, its simplicity design and the petite size make it such an interesting and versatile piece to host drinks, books and decor.
