It is no doubt that barbiecore pink is the trending shade. Everything is so dreamy by looking through ‘rose colored glasses’. Pink often create very relaxing and romantic mood just like the bedroom we designed here. A pop of pink on the bench adds a dose of whimsy and instantly makes this neutral-toned bedroom so dreamy.

Spring is the season to experience something new and fresh. An unexpected color palette, a bold statement piece and mix and match of pieces from different eras will create a quite interesting and timeless interior that is full of character and personality. Although white-on-white is not going to go away, we are in the mood for something more atmospheric, fun and playful this spring just like this would-be-rather-neutral bedroom we designed.

The inspiration of the bedroom design is from the soft yet crisp feeling the bed and bedding we used in the design—cozy, comfy yet sophisticated. Yet we want to infuse some pops of color and texture for excitement to the space. That is why we used this channeled modern orange brown velvet bench at the end of the bed—it’s functional too. The mid-tone oak round Railton bedside tables bring in a touch of warmth and chicness with their sculptural, curved lines. We used a adorable pair of light blue ceramic table lamps for a more soft and organic feel. The soothing light blue on the accent wall talks to the pastel blue on the lamp. And chinoisserie bolster pillow is timeless and has a classical vibe. The rabbit by Hunt Slonem is fun and playful. A hand-knotted dark blue rug elevates the bedroom with its delicate motif design and underfoot softness.
We love the tall headboard and soft fabric on this modern low profile bed—a statement piece yet cozy and restful. The craftsmanship of this bed is just amazing.
This petite cylindrical pieces is hard to pass by thanks to its petite size, two-drawer configuration and ripped details on the front surface. The wood material brings in warmth, texture and relaxing feel.

What we have seen in the past several months is the coming-back of the classical design in a fresh way. Artful mixing of materials and styles is a way to make any space timeless. Meanwhile, pattern and textile are playing such an critical role to light up the mood and bring in personality. Today, we’d love to present a spring-inspired bedroom we designed.
We have just designed a series of New Year LookBook rooms based on our design projects, best sellers in 2021 and trend studies for 2022. There are some trends in 2021 that will continue going strong in 2022–like all curved, sculptural shapes & forms and the artful mixing-and-matching of different eras and styles. In today’s theme, we focus on creating a a casual yet elegant bedroom with a king-size dark cane bed , plush trimmed pillows and shams, a pink velvet loveseat and the blush toile wallpaper. The two open wicker nightstands make the space more open and breathable while two of the table lamps add the character to this space. A sand-colored area rug anchors the whole room. Majorities of the pieces are now in Summer Tent Sale and the stock goes really fast. So act fast to grab them if you fall in love with any of them.
